Salad “Chafan” became famous and gained popularity, coming to us from Siberia. For many, it was love on any holiday table. It is very juicy and nutritious, colorful in appearance, and most importantly – provides an opportunity to combine ingredients at will. Imagination is where the wild. Now I cook it for all birthdays. Everyone really likes.

Preparation of salad “Chafan”:
Step 1: Processed meat.
Beef clean from streaks, wash well under running water. Take a Board and cut the meat into thin strips. Put the pan on the stove, pour in the sunflower oil and fry until cooked meat. During frying several times should be thinned to keep the meat from burning. For 5 minutes until cooked cover the pan with a lid to potamilus meat slightly and softened. Once the meat is ready, place on a plate and cool it to room temperature.
Step 2: Prepare the potatoes.
You must peel the potatoes and wash under the tap. Drain on a paper towel and let it drain. Take a grater (Korean carrots) and grate it peeled raw potatoes. Fry in vegetable oil on medium heat. You should not bring the potatoes until fully cooked and slightly dry, it needs to be half-baked. Put on a plate and cool it.
Step 3: Prepare the carrots and beets.
Carrots, beets well my under water. Grate (for Korean carrot) vegetables, they’ll be at raw (when serving raw vegetables is not felt, none of the guests will never guess). Set aside on individual plates.
Step 4: Prepare the cabbage.
Cabbage wash, clean and try to cut into sticks. Put separately on a plate (who are a burden to cut finely, grate the cabbage, the taste of the salad is not changed).
Step 5: Prepare the onions.
Onions cleaned from the peel and wash, cut into thin strips and fill it with boiling water for 20 minutes (this is done in order to remove the pungent smell and bitter taste). After a little bit of onion squeeze and put on a plate.
Step 6: the salad is Served “Chapan”.
Take a large round dish and spread heaps of prepared foods in the following order – in the middle of the plate put a mound of roasted meat, around the meat followed by our previously prepared ingredients, one should put them in groups – carrots, potatoes, onions, beets and cabbage. And try the edge of the plate to leave 2 cm free. Take the mayonnaise and distribute on each ingredient a little. Someone lacking in spice and salt, please add salt and sprinkle with ground black pepper on top. To add beauty you can decorate the salad with parsley or dill. When the guests at the table, salad “Chafan” stir with a spoon and enjoy the amazing taste.
Tips for recipe:
– — It can also contain a bit pointy, as if to put spicy Korean carrot, it will not be equal. What man does not like spicy? I personally this salad is mostly prepared at the request of the husband. Well, it turns out very tasty and nutritious, because it contains the same meat.
– — Who doesn’t love raw onions, I suggest to fry on vegetable oil, it will give the salad a pale sweet taste.
