Grilled Cheese Sandwich
INGREDIENTS:
1 or 2 slices of cheese, typically Gouda Cheese,
Limberger Cheese, Cottage Cheese or American Cheese
2 slices of bread
Butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS:
1. Simply heat up a skillet, frying pan or griddle, it is best
on most stoves to heat on medium, spread the butter or margarine
on the bread, place one piece of bread margarine side down in the
skillet, a slice or two of cheese, and the other piece of bread,
greasy-side up.
2. If you have a bacon press put it on top. (This step is important;
if you do not have a bacon press, use another pot, made heavy by
adding water to it.) When the bottom slice has turned brown, flip
the sandwich over and put the press on it again.
3. The goal is to get a nicely browned sandwich with melted cheese
in the middle.
