Ham Apple Pie
INGREDIENTS:
4 lb Ham, cooked, chopped fine
5 Green apples, chopped
2 onions, chopped fine
1 ts Sage
1 tb Mixed vegetable seasoning
1 Cube bouillon (dissolved in 1 c water)
4 Potatoes, cooked and mashed
3 tb Melted butter
DIRECTIONS:
1. In deep baking dish, arrange alternate layers of ham
and apples. Sprinkle each layer with onion and seasonings.
Moisten each layer with bouillon. Over top, cover with
layer of thick mashed potatoes. Brush potato peaks with
melted butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
until ham is thoroughly heated and potato peaks are browned.
