Lasagne
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 cup Water
4 cups prepared Spaghetti sauce
2 cups Riccota cheese or Cottage cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped Chives
1/2 tsp. Oregano leaves
1 Egg
8 oz. package of uncooled Lasagna noodles
16 oz. package of Mozzarella cheese, grated
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a skillet brown the Ground Beef, drain well, add
Spaghetti sauce and water, simmer 5 minutes. In a bowl
combine Cottage cheese, Chives, Oregano leaves, and Egg;
mix well. In a 13 x 9 in. baking dish, In even layers
starting with 1 1/2 cups of the sauce; Top meat sauce
with Lasagna noodles; Top noodles with Riccota/Cottage
cheese mixture; Top Mozzarella cheese; Repeat layers
finishing with meat sauce layer and a Sprinkling of
Parmesan cheese
2. Heat oven to 350F; Bake 50 to 60 minutes, until
noodles are tender and sauce bubbling; Let stand 15
minutes before serving.
