Best Ever Chocolate Cake



INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 cups sugar		

1 cup shortening		

2 each eggs		

2 1/2 cups flour (packed)	

1/2 cup cocoa powder		

1/2 teaspoon salt		

1 cup buttermilk		

1 cup water boiling	

2 teaspoons soda

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cream sugar and shortening and add eggs, one
at a time.

2. Sift flour three times with cocoa and salt.

3. Add alternatley with buttermilk.

4. Add soda and water and add to above ingredients.

5. Grease and flour 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan.

6. Bake at 300 degrees for 90 minutes.

7. Test for doneness. Cool and ice with your
favorite icing.
