European lobster



The European Lobster (Homarus gammarus) is a lobster whose range includes the eastern Atlantic Ocean from the Lofoten Islands in northwestern Norway to the Azores and Morocco. It has also been found in parts of the Mediterranean Sea and the northwestern parts of the Black Sea.

This species is rarely found deeper than fifty meters, but can be found anywhere from the low tide mark to 150 meters.
